Think again.
I had too much fun with my first 6-week endeavor, trying to conquer the tech world, and well, whether or not I succeeded is subjective; to each his own.
However when I presented the challenge, “define geek,” many replies suggested it was just someone with excessive knowledge and/or enthusiasm in any field.
Given that, I’ve decided that you can become any kind of “geek” over a matter of time – a food geek, a music geek, a movie geek, a sports geek, a travel/tourist geek…. you get the idea.
So I’ve decided to take on a new challenge for the next six weeks, starting Saturday… The subject? TBD. Whatever it is, I’ll make sure to document what I’m doing to become “geek” status.
What do you think?
I’m not satisfied with your definition of geek
Pretty neat idea! So you would spend six weeks at a time getting “geeky” in various things? Maybe pick music next and talk about how music is made!? Soundboarding, mastering, optimal recording environments etc. That would be awesome
